Republicans are launching a direct attack against our public lands, all to deliver handouts to their billionaire donors. Let me connect the dots:

You might be aware of the court case Utah brought that aims to take 18 million acres of your public lands and have them transferred to the state, to then sell them off to be privatized.

Then, in January, House Republicans changed the rules to make it easier to sell off public lands.

Now, Trump and Elon Musk have laid off thousands and thousands of Forest Service employees, Park Service rangers, National Fish and Wildlife habitat specialists — you name it, all to make it harder to manage our federal public lands.

Let me tell you what their next play is.

They want to claim that federal public lands are being mismanaged — forget the fact that they just canned all the people who steward these lands — so millions of acres can be transferred to the states and sold off to the wealthiest bidder.
