Hi John,
This week, the Trump Administration just took a horrifying step: it withdrew from a lawsuit ( Idaho and Moyle, et al. v. United States ) that blocked Idaho from jailing doctors who provide emergency abortion care — care that is required by federal law under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA). While a federal judge has temporarily blocked Idaho’s ban on emergency abortion care, this is a clear signal that the Trump administration won’t fight for patients and their families.
We must make it clear: Denying lifesaving abortion care is unacceptable. Sign our petition now—and get three friends to do the same.

For 40 years, EMTALA has guaranteed that every hospital patient experiencing a medical emergency gets the care they need, including abortion, regardless of where they live. Both Republicans and Democrats have upheld this law—until now.
This is not just about policy—it’s life or death. A third of all pregnancies [[link removed]] involve ER visits. Doctors and patients know what’s at stake. The public overwhelmingly supports emergency abortion care. But President Trump and his administration just made it clear: They would rather let pregnant people die than allow doctors to do their jobs.
This is a direct violation of President Trump’s campaign promise not to take federal action on abortion. And it’s just the beginning.
Take action now- sign the petition and call on the Trump administration to protect life-saving care today! [[link removed]]
