Standing with President Trump to Put America First

In his joint address to Congress, President Trump showed the world what ‘America First’ looks like. His vision restores hope in the American Dream, and his leadership has delivered historic success. I am proud to work alongside this administration as we fight to fulfill the people's mandate to secure our nation, restore a thriving economy, cut government waste, and prioritize the families and small businesses of Main Street. Under President Trump, we will make America strong, secure, and competitive once again.

It was an honor to have Dr. Jeremy Ross from Fort Worth as my guest for President Trump’s address to Congress. He took care of my wife, Patty, and I am grateful for his efforts to help fight all types of cancer.


Fighting Government Waste

Elon Musk met with House Republicans to discuss our ongoing fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government. The days of shipping taxpayer dollars overseas and funding a woke un-American agenda are over. I am proud to serve on the DOGE Caucus to deliver on the people’s mandate to Make America Great Again!

China Financial Threat Mitigation Act of 2025 Passed Committee

It’s no secret that the CCP engages in currency manipulation and distorting markets to its advantage. Our top priority should always be to protect American values and promote the interests of the US. My bipartisan bill, the China Financial Threat Mitigation Act of 2025, unanimously passed committee. This is a critical step in holding the Chinese accountable for their abuse of the financial sector.

Met with SBA Administrator Loeffler

Under Administrator Loeffler and President Trump, the Small Business Administration will once again be a voice for Main Street. This week, I held a committee meeting with Administrator Loeffler to discuss how we will work together to prioritize small businesses, reduce regulations, and bring Main Street to the forefront as we usher in the Golden Age of America.

Passed 7 Bipartisan Bills out of the House Committee on Small Business

As Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, it is my responsibility to put forward meaningful policy solutions to help our nation’s job creators. In this week’s bipartisan markup, we passed seven bills to Make Main Street Great Again. My bill, the Connecting Small Businesses with Career & Technical Education Graduates Act, utilizes SBDCs to connect CTE graduates with businesses in need of their trade skill. The American people deserve common sense legislation that simplifies contracting requirements, cuts bureaucratic red tape, and ensures that the SBA focuses on the needs of small businesses.
