What: Spring 2025 Meeting
When: Sunday, March 23rd from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Where:Farish Theater, Lexington Public Library (Central Library location, 140 E Main St, Lexington, KY). The meeting will also be streamed in our private Facebook group.
We’ll feature a state roundtable with current and former state representatives Adrielle Camuel (93), Anne Gay Donworth (76), and Cherlynn Stevenson. Plus, special guest speaker, Indivisible Co-Founder Ezra Levin!
Arrive early (from 2 p.m.) or stay after to connect with fellow members! We hope to see you there!

NATIONAL: TESLA TAKE DOWN @ NEW TESLA DEALERSHIP LOCATION - MARCH 15TH Inspired by the Tesla protests? A new Tesla Dealership is moving into an old Burlington Coat Factory location in Cincinnati (5245 Ridge Ave, Cincinnati, OH). There will be a protest from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 15th. This is a volunteer-organized event posted on the Indivisible website. It is not sponsored or hosted by BGAA. STATE: CALL THE LRC HOTLINE! On the state level, over 1,100 bills have been filed in this short legislative session! Republicans have filed numerous egregious bills. Please call 1-800-372-7181 to voice your opinion. These links provide guidance on timelines and bills in progress:
NATIONAL: CALL YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS Call your members of Congress and let them know how you feel about topics that most concern you. The Indivisible website's section Take Action Now and the 5 Calls website provide up-to-date talking points and information.
NATIONAL: ORGANIZED OFFICE VISITS - WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS! We have a member who is organizing visits at the offices of our members of Congress.
