Women Have Always Led—It’s Time to Stand with
them!
A message from the Green Party National Women's Caucus
for International Women's Day and Women's History
Month:
Friend --
This International Women's Day, we reflect on the many women who
have shaped history, fought for justice, and worked together to build
a better world. For all of their contributions, what have they
received? A system that still undervalues their labor, restricts their
rights, and leaves too many behind.
From access to healthcare and reproductive rights, to equal pay and
workplace protections, to freedom from gender-based violence, women
are increasingly under attack. Today, we've seen women around the
country and around the world rally, march, and demand equal rights,
bodily autonomy, and an end to sexual violence and discrimination.

The Green Party has never wavered in its commitment to gender
equity. Feminism and gender equity are core to our 10
Key Values. We have always fought for reproductive
freedom, equal pay, and leadership opportunities for women—not just in
words, but in action. While other parties debate whether a woman
can lead, Greens have ensured that women
do lead. Since 1996, every Green Party
presidential ticket has included at least one woman!
"Women do not have to embrace
principles of imperialism, corporatism and militarism in order to be a
feminist. There is another feminist choice, which is consistent with
the broader principles of feminism."
- Jill Stein, 2016 and 2024

We refuse to let the corporate and imperialist parties in
Washington, DC, treat diversity, equity, and inclusion as political
footballs. We
are fighting for the Equal Rights Amendment, equal wages,
economic justice for single mothers, and policies that uplift all
women—not just those who can afford it.

This Women’s History Month, we ask you to stand with us. Your
support helps us build a movement that prioritizes justice, equality,
and true representation. Every donation fuels our fight for policies
and candidates that empower women and dismantle systemic barriers
