Hi team — Ashley here, Chris's finance director. I was just running the numbers on our end-of-month fundraising goal with Chris when I realized I hadn’t checked in with you directly yet.

We're grateful to everyone who has already stepped up to help us hit our goal. But we found a $1,318 gap in our numbers, and with only a few hours left to make up the difference, Chris asked me to reach out to some of our best supporters to get us back on track.

Team, will you help us close the gap by pitching in $5 or more before tonight at midnight? Reaching this end-of-month goal is absolutely critical to re-electing Chris and holding the House majority.

If we fall behind now, we could be playing catch up next month when we need to report our numbers for the FEC deadline. With national Republicans zeroing in on our district, any sort of slip up now could give our opponents an edge in a race this competitive.

Since we’re funding this campaign the right way — without a single donation from corporate PACs — it’s these requests that ensure we have the resources to fight back against the attacks that are sure to come our way.
