John,
Colorado Democrats just held their bi-annual reorganization event where party members voted for Chair and Vice Chairs to lead the party into the 2025 and 2026 elections.
And today, the Colorado Democratic Party has re-elected:
>> Shad Murib, Chair
>> Indira Duggirala, 1st Vice Chair
>> Scott Mangino, 2nd Vice Chair
>> Josh Trupin, Secretary
>> Andy Yaste, Treasurer

Under this party’s leadership, we’ve seen a 15% increase in voter turnout in key districts thanks to our year-round deep-canvassing efforts. Thirty counties in Colorado, including GOP strongholds, moved towards Democrats in 2024, accounting for 10 percent of the entire country’s leftward shift of counties. We maintained majorities in the state legislature, on the CU Board of Regents, and at the State Board of Education and delivered our electoral votes by double digits.
That said, this team knows that Colorado Democrats have a lot of work to do over the coming years.
Said Chair Shad Murib, “We will redesign and rebuild our Party to reclaim victories across the state. We will reimagine how we organize from our phone screens to the doors, and compete aggressively in every race – including for school board and city council – because every election matters. We are going to fight in every congressional district, including beating Gabe Evans and winning a Democratic House.”
As the party looks forward to 2025 and 2026, YOU are a critical part of this work and we hope you’ll stick with us as we continue to elect Democrats across the state, unseat far-right Republicans, and break up Republican majorities in every corner of Colorado.
Thank you for being with us.
