A new non-partisan report from the Congressional Budget Office this week
has confirmed what we already knew: the GOP budget will mean drastic cuts
to our health care.

We have been sounding the alarm since House Republicans first introduced
their harmful budget bill, but some GOP politicians tried to obscure the
truth by claiming slashing health care wasn’t required.

They can’t hide from this anymore. This new budget report makes clear that
legislators cannot meet the spending goals they’ve outlined unless they
cut Medicare or Medicaid. So, either the budget they passed is a lie, or
their promise about not slashing health care is a lie.

We deserve leaders in Washington who tell us the truth and work on
solutions that get families the help and care they need. Our work starts
now to flip the House and Senate in 2026.
