John, I have two quick updates for you: 1.) We held our first tele-town hall for folks in Washington’s 6th District last week. A whopping 16,542 people joined!
We covered a range of topics: Medicaid, money in politics, mental healthcare, protecting public lands, and the steps we can take to stand up for our neighbors under attack from this administration. Then, on Tuesday night, Emily hosted a livestream with five members of our community who are experiencing the Trump-Musk agenda firsthand. You can watch the full video on Facebook →
In a time of fear and division, we must recognize folks like Dana, Ashley, Mary, Tiera, and Tony – neighbors from all walks of life who serve vital, unsung roles in our communities. Many of our neighbors are facing fear and uncertainty about the Republican agenda, especially the firings of federal workers and the proposed cuts to Medicaid. I’m committed to running a transparent, responsive, community-centered office.
