Missing our May fundraising goal is not an option if we’re going to out-communicate the science-deniers and turn NY-01 blue in November. CDC officials are being “muzzled,” whistleblowers are being shut out, and science continues to be sidelined for the sake of cynical political expedience.

Families in Suffolk County deserve better than a representative who spends his time and energy defending Trump as part of the far right of the GOP. I wouldn’t reach out to you now if this weren’t so important. Hitting our goal will mean we can reach the voters we need to defeat Zeldin and prevent another two years of him putting his party’s politics before facts. Hitting our goal will mean improving life on Long Island.

Zeldin has his corporate PAC friends, but we have you and others who know that scientists can no longer serve only as advisors to politicians in Washington. We need a seat at the table.
