John, this isn’t the kind of news we were hoping to share: Just a few months into 2025, we’ve already seen a barrage of extreme legislation from Congress that would restrict the right to choose. Make no mistake: These bills are cruel, offensive, and dangerous. Instead of affirming the right to make decisions about your own body, extreme politicians want to place themselves in your bedroom and your exam room — and strip away your fundamental freedoms. But here in Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro believes that extreme politicians should never stand in the way of accessing reproductive care — including abortion. Abortion is health care, and it must remain a safe and legal option here in Pennsylvania.
