Again, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, has been in the news. For what you might ask? Well, for fending off the Trump administration once again.
As of today, Attorney General Mayes has filed a total of five lawsuits to stop the Trump administration. And she’s not stopping there.
Mayes has also joined a coalition of 23 Democratic attorneys general across the country to take on not just Trump, but his de-facto second-in-command, Elon Musk.
She’s proving to be exactly what Americans need: a fearless fighter who won’t back down. Even Republicans are taking notice—former Arizona GOP Executive Director Brian Murray called her “an attack dog,” and for once, we completely agree.
To fight off this administration we need an attack dog like Attorney General Mayes. We need someone who is willing to put their career on the line to protect us Arizonans and to set an example for Democratic leaders throughout the country.
But here’s the reality: Mayes won in 2022 by just 280 votes. If we want to keep her in office, we can’t afford to wait—we need to start early and build the groundwork now; and not just anywhere but at the ground level, with groups like us who directly engage with and register voters on a routine basis.
With Trump and Musk doing everything they can to destroy the rule of law and steal your private information, we need leaders like Kris Mayes fighting back. And we need you to help make sure she wins in 2026.
