Here’s how they plan to do it:
The PEPPER Act – A get-out-of-jail-free card for Trump and J.D. Vance, letting them move state criminal cases against them to federal courts, which would be directed to dismiss them. If this passes, Trump and Vance could break state laws without consequences.
The Judges Act – A court-packing scheme that would create new judgeships for Trump and the GOP to fill with far-right loyalists. It’s a blatant power grab to cement MAGA control over the judiciary.
The No Rogue Rulings Act – A direct attack on our rights, preventing district judges from blocking Trump’s unconstitutional actions. This would make it harder to stop his relentless march to autocracy.
These bills aren’t about justice. They’re about power. The GOP wants to rig the system so they can break the law without consequences. If we don’t fight back, Trump and his allies will have even more control over the courts – allowing them to ignore the law, dodge accountability, and rule unchecked.
