More concerning reports out of the White House this week.

Donald Trump and his administration have begun to signal that his administration would not defend a NATO ally if they were attacked.

Nevermind that NATO has kept the peace for 75 years because of the Article Five commitment each of its members make: An attack on one is an attack on all, and each member must come to their defense.

Nevermind the fact that this iron clad commitment has been invoked just one time — and that was when our NATO allies came to our defense after 9/11.

Nevermind the fact that Putin has made his expansionist aims clear.

NATO is the most successful alliance in history. American prosperity and global stability rests in large part on the success of that alliance. Abandoning that alliance is a gift to Putin — one he will happily accept.

VoteVets and our members will be mobilizing around the country and in Washington to push the administration to keep our word and uphold NATO. If they do not, we will all be less safe.
