A new study from researchers at the University of Texas confirms what we've feared all along -- so-called "gender-affirming" surgeries are not and have never been the solution.

According to the research, individuals who undergo these procedures face higher risks of mental health struggles, including suicidal ideation.

As I told Fox News Digital:

 "The findings of this study should serve as a wake-up call. But for the young detransitioners we represent in lawsuits against gender clinics, these statistics are their lived reality."

"Their so-called 'gender-affirming care' did not alleviate their distress -- it created new mental health struggles and, for many, introduced suicidal thoughts for the first time.This is why we are fighting to hold those responsible accountable."

For years, activists and radical medical institutions have lied, claiming these surgeries are necessary to save lives.

Now we have the data to prove the opposite.

But despite this overwhelming evidence, doctors and hospitals continue performing these life-altering procedures on vulnerable children.

And when detransitioners come forward seeking justice, deep-pocketed activist groups like the ACLU rush to protect the doctors and gender clinics, not the victims.
