John, you’ve heard about our campaign to FIRE Elon Musk, an unelected billionaire who’s using his unchecked power to hurt the American people.
But now, Musk is dismantling the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to do the bidding of fossil fuel interests. Already, he and Donald Trump have told more than 1,000 EPA employees to prepare to be “fired immediately.” [1]
This purge would be a boon for fossil fuel interests and fossil fuel executives – at all of our expense.

The crucial programs they’re dismantling measure the impacts of burning fossil fuels, and their first cuts are the staff that support low income and minority communities disproportionately affected by pollution.
John, purging federal employees at the expense of the most vulnerable Americans is no way to run a democracy.
Unless we speak out now, the crucial agencies that protect our environment and health will be completely gutted and then re-staffed with fossil fuel stooges, a decision that would serve only wealthy fossil fuel executives – NOT the American people.
Make no mistake, these aren’t typical administrative tweaks made by a new presidential administration, but a full-scale attempted takeover led by an unaccountable billionaire who appears to want to claim total authority over public spending.
That’s why I need your help. Musk and Trump are acting as instruments of the fossil fuel billionaires who are trying to cling to their fortunes. But we all know that our democracy deserves better than that – and our representatives have to fight for it.
