Hi John, Today is International Women’s Day! If you did not get a chance to read the email from our Women’s Health Team Leader, Jacey Linn-Schuler, I have included it as a forward below. Today we celebrate all that women do to make a difference and serve their families and communities. We also acknowledge that there is still much work to do to ensure women around the world receive equal access to things like education, employment, and other opportunities. You can be a part of providing training and workshops focused on physical, emotional, and spiritual health for women. Will you join us? Hi Al, In the toughest places, women are disproportionally affected by crisis, displacement, and poverty. They are more likely to lack adequate nutrition, healthcare, and economic opportunities. The Unto Women’s Dignity Initiative was designed to help suffering women in the toughest places thrive. The initiative has a transformative impact on both individual women and entire communities by empowering them through workshops and training focused on physical, emotional, and spiritual health. By partnering with us to support the Women’s Dignity Initiative, you will provide suffering women with access to lifesaving humanitarian aid while also giving them the opportunity to hear about God’s love. Recently, our women’s health team had the opportunity to take seven young women to Colombia who are studying nursing or pre-medicine at their respective universities. Together with the local Cru® staff and area pastors, the team hosted three women’s health workshops. In every city where the team served, many women expressed interest in learning more about Jesus and connecting with a local church. The team had the joy of seeing 70 women respond to the gospel! Isabella* was one of them.

When she arrived at the women’s health workshop, she had been through many struggles. Her five-year-old child had also endured a difficult illness. Because of these things, she had stopped going to church. But during the workshop, Isabella was reminded of God’s love for her. She committed her life to Jesus and plans to attend the local church that helped host the workshop. When you support the Women’s Dignity Initiative, you help reach women like Isabella. But you not only reach her, you help reach her entire family with practical health education — and the message of Jesus. Would you consider a generous gift today to support the Women’s Dignity Initiative? Without partners like you, these workshops for women cannot take place. Your gift to support the Women’s Dignity Initiative will help provide women in the toughest places with:
As the Women’s Health Team Leader, I’ve seen the transformative impact these workshops have on individuals and communities. These workshops are truly hosted in some of the toughest places on earth. I’ve met women at these workshops who come with a history of abuse, traumatic heart wounds, no sense of dignity and no hope. But to see the change within these women at the end of the workshop is incredible! They come out of these workshops with resources to support their physical, emotional and spiritual health, but most importantly they come out restored. Please prayerfully consider supporting the Women’s Dignity Initiative today. Your generosity will impact women, families, and entire communities with the help and hope of Jesus.
In Him,
P.S. Join me in supporting the Women’s Dignity Initiative today. Your support will impact not just individual women in the toughest places, but entire families and communities too. Please consider this opportunity to support and share gospel hope with women in need. Thank you! |
