Dear Friend,

Every person should see themselves in this world. They should feel valued, loved, and supported. At Trevor, we know when LGBTQ+ young people have just one supportive adult, the risk of them attempting suicide drops by 40%.

This is why the work our crisis counselors and trained volunteers do 365 days a year is so urgent. They are doing life-saving work every minute of every hour.

LGBTQ+ young people are scared. In our 2024 National Survey, 90% of LGBTQ+ youth shared that their mental well-being was negatively impacted by recent politics. We saw this in the 700% increase in contacts the day after the election, the 33% spike in volume on Inauguration Day, and the 46% increase the next day.

Friend, can we count on your help? Your gift will ensure that the work Trevor started 27 years ago to end suicide among LGBTQ+ youth is possible.

Last year, Trevor took nearly 500,000 calls, chats, and text messages from LGBTQ+ youth. Our crisis team must be available 24/7 to every LGBTQ+ young person who reaches out to us when they need us the most.

Together, let’s do all we can to support and protect LGBTQ+ young people today.

In partnership and with appreciation,
