I know it's easy to feel like we're fighting an uphill battle. The amount of time, hard work, and relationship-building it took for us to push through major pieces of legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act to lower costs for working families was no small feat. President Trump and Elon Musk represent a real risk to our hard-earned victories, but we won't give up.
Many people in Washington are more interested in scoring political points than actually getting things done for working people. And wealthy special interest groups are ready to drop millions of dollars in attack ads against anyone who dares to stand up to them — like they did against us last election.

I grew up right here in Toledo, in the same house I still live in today. I go to work every day for my own community, for my friends and my family and my neighbors. I try to solve the problems that affect us all, from Great Lakes pollution to rising healthcare and housing costs.
