New York City Mayor Eric Adams is the perfect example of a corrupt Democrat in Name Only (DINO).

After defeating multiple progressive candidates in the 2022 mayoral election, Adams reinstated illegal stop-and-frisk policies and prioritized the already massive police budget over affordable housing, libraries, public transit, and other city services that would actually help New Yorkers.

To make matters worse, he abused his position of power and was indicted on federal corruption charges for bribery, campaign finance, and conspiracy offenses.

Now, Adams tried throwing immigrants and his constituents under the bus to save himself from criminal charges by cutting a deal with Donald Trump.

The Mayor went to Mar-a-Lago and Trump’s inauguration, told his staff not to criticize Trump in public, offered to be an “ever-present partner” with the Trump admin, and said he would cooperate with DHS and ICE to deport undocumented immigrants despite New York’s status as a sanctuary city — all in exchange for Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) to dismiss federal charges against him.

A NY judge just ordered Adams and Trump DOJ officials to court, but we can’t allow this sad excuse of a Democrat to remain in power. New Yorkers deserve a progressive, working-class mayor who will fight for them, not their own interests, and resist Trump instead of cozying up to him.
