**The Time Democrats Tried to Ban… Everything**

Remember when New York tried to ban large sodas? Or when California flirted with the idea of banning plastic straws, gas stoves, and even _bacon_? The Democratic obsession with bans never stops—except, of course, when it comes to things that actually matter, like illegal immigration, crime, and reckless spending. Every time they introduce a new restriction, they claim it’s for “public health” or “climate change.” Meanwhile, Americans are left wondering: when did personal choice become so dangerous?

But here's the best part—every time Democrats push these bans, they end up backfiring. Take the plastic straw ban: restaurants replaced them with soggy paper alternatives that nobody wanted, all while landfills still overflowed with waste. Gas stove bans? They rallied Americans against the left’s overreach faster than anything else. And bacon? Well, California quickly realized that banning pork would lead to an uprising of hungry, angry citizens. Maybe, just maybe, they should focus on securing the border and fixing inflation instead of micromanaging what’s on our dinner plates.
