Dear Friend,
Trump is wasting no time pandering to fossil fuel CEOs with an executive order to block new leases on wind turbines and existing energy projects. In addition,Trump is fast-tracking fossil fuel production for so-called ‘energy dominance’. These irresponsible actions are only hurling our planet faster towards climate destruction with Black and Brown communities on the frontlines.

Congress must act urgently to protect our people and planet. They must direct funds to wind, solar, and other clean energy projects, as well as provide oversight to an administration out-of-touch with the realities of the climate emergency.
ALIGN is organizing locally to transition polluting buildings to clean energy and that there are no dangerous loopholes that would burden Black and Brown communities. But we must make our voice heard at the federal level as well. Join us in calling on Congress to block Trump’s attack on clean energy. |
