At West Point, we had a code: cadets don't lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.

In just a few short weeks, the new administration and Congressional majorities have exposed an egregious amount of WASTE, FRAUD, and ABUSE of taxpayer dollars that has gone UNCHECKED until now.

I'm Dave McCormick. I'm a West Point grad, combat veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne, a 7th-generation Pennsylvanian, and last November I defeated an entrenched career politician in the #1 swing state of the 2024 election.

I made a promise to come to the Senate and work with fellow political outsiders like President Trump to shake up Washington, and I'm working to do that every single day.

But the entrenched political class is terrified that we are uncovering their decades-long grift of lies and stealing from taxpayers. They are doing everything they can to stop us and I WON'T TOLERATE IT.

This is a long message and I hope you will read all the way to the end.

I grew up in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. We lived on campus at Bloomsburg State College and my parents owned a farm ten minutes down the road.

I had summer jobs baling hay and trimming Christmas trees at nearby farms.

I'm incredibly proud that my dad was chosen to be president of Bloomsburg State College (now Bloomsburg University) at only 34 years old.

I'm so proud of my parents' teaching careers and to have been raised in Bloomsburg.

It was there that I wrestled and played football and was nominated to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

And it was there that I came home to a parade after serving in combat during the Gulf War.

After the Army, I earned a Ph.D. in international relations before moving to Pittsburgh to start a career in business. I worked my way up to become the CEO of FreeMarkets, a successful tech startup that employed hundreds in Western Pennsylvania.

I was then called to service again, this time in the highest levels of government as Under Secretary of Treasury and as Deputy National Security Advisor.

Following this, I joined Bridgewater Associates, one of the largest, most successful investment firms in the world, which manages the pension plans of groups including teachers, firefighters and law enforcement.

I have lived the American Dream. When I ran for the U.S. Senate to bring my decades of experience and love for our country to fix our broken economy that is a direct result of policies supported by the far left, I became a national target for outright LIES from mainstream media outlets like The New York Times and CNN.

I have been asked why I ran for political office. I opened myself and my family up to attacks from the left, and every day felt like a battle. But I believe in America's strength and resilience. And I believe our nation needs leaders who place service to others above all else.
