Team Gonzalez Update
On Memorial Day, America paused to remember all who have given their lives defending our freedom. Those brave men and women exemplified the best of America and its ideals, but we must also remember, as President George H.W. Accurate coronavirus testing as America reopens for business Anthony remains focused on Congress's response to the coronavirus pandemic and what more can be done to help Northeast Ohio get back on its feet. He has introduced bipartisan legislation to establish prize competitions incentivizing the development of an accurate COVID-19 test. “America is opening up again, and it is critically important we develop the tools needed to test at home to ensure safety and confidence as we do so,” Anthony said. Gonzalez spotlights the pandemic's impact on domestic violence and kids Anthony has also called on the U.S. Department of Education to work with states to ensure children can safely report domestic abuse to school officials while at home receiving instruction online. “School teachers, coaches and other mandated reporters are often the first line of defense for children who experience abuse at home," Anthony said. "Without these protectors, many children in our community are being left to suffer.”
Coronavirus update As Ohio reopens and recovers from the pandemic, the coronavirus will remain for some time, even as life starts to feel normal again. It's important that we each do our part to minimize the risk of a resurgence of the virus. Anthony recommends that everyone stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Ohio Department of Health website.
