2. Dress the part – wear wool. Wool absorbs moisture and traps heat. It is light and good quality wool is very soft. Wear it in underlayers, socks, and mittens. Don't focus on the weather, focus on how to dress.
3. Embrace snow activities. Snow is fun. Build igloos, make snow angels, go sledding, throw snowballs. The more you move, the warmer you feel and even welcome the cool air on your face.
4. Add to your time outside in little bits. Don't begin with an all-day outing. Dress up and walk around the block, then go twice. Increase your time gradually and it will become more natural.
