In the last few weeks, what we've seen and heard is not normal. We knew Trump would disregard our Constitution and push the limits of Executive power. Democrats must fight back. I'm going to go into how but before I do, can you help us catch up on our February fundraising goal by chipping in $25? As you know my race is a top target for Republicans.
That's why it is incumbent upon us to know what's going on and stand up tall to abuses of power and lawlessness. That means pulling every available lever to stop the administration in its tracks. Speaking out. Showing up. Battling in the courts. Winning. We must do it all.
A cadre of kids taking over U.S. Government buildings and taking our private information should be a red flag and worrisome to every New Jerseyan. What they're doing behind closed doors should be concerning to everyone who cares about building a government by and for the people.
Our best defense is a good offense and that means winning back our majority in Congress so we have power to stop Trump. My seat, in NJ-09, was one of the closest contests in the country, and I won with fewer than 51% of the vote. Republicans have already put a target on this seat and we're way behind where we need to be to protect this seat.
