** THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR INCARCERATED FIREFIGHTERS!
------------------------------------------------------------
To show our appreciation, here is an update on all things ARC Firefighter Fund.
** Firefighter Fund Update
------------------------------------------------------------
Since the recent Los Angeles fires, we have felt heartbroken for the many thousands who lost everything, but also inspired by the remarkable resilience of our community, and the many ways we have come together to lift each other up.
When the fires first broke out, we launched a Firefighter Fund ([link removed]) to provide the nearly 1,000 incarcerated firefighters battling the LA fires with basic needs, such as meals, hygiene kits, shower trucks and more. We couldn’t have anticipated the level of support we received from individual donors, partners, as well as artists and small business owners, who raised funds on our behalf.
As a result of your enormous generosity, ARC has raised more than $1.8 MILLION for our incarcerated firefighters. With these funds, we have already provided immediate support, and are beginning to implement necessary infrastructure updates to our fire camps, and scholarships for individuals wishing to pursue firefighting careers after release.
Here are a few examples of where your support has gone so far.

We served over 30 meals at the Rose Bowl and Holton Basecamps for nearly 500 incarcerated firefighters each. Thanks to Irv’s Burgers, Maple Block Meat Co, Jon and Vinny's, Chef Jeff, Raising Cane’s and many more for showing up to feed these heroes!
An extra-special thank you to Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively, Steven Spielberg, and the Ballmer Foundation for making these meals possible.
** Fire Camp Upgrades!

Since launching the Firefighter Fund, we have welcomed two crew members home so far and provided both with scholarships. One young man, Fausto Lopez, is now attending Cal State San Bernardino. You can watch his story HERE ([link removed]) .
We are currently preparing five more scholarships for Pine Grove youth coming home from incarceration, and are looking forward to supporting hundreds more in the months and years to come.
** Supporter Shoutouts

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Firefighter Fund! While we can’t possibly name everyone here, we wanted to share a few noteworthy fundraisers and the people behind them. Some of these items are still available too!!
