 As if the news out of Washington wasn’t bad enough, Republicans want to replicate it here in Texas. Take a look:
In just a few short weeks DOGE has decimated the federal government. Hundreds of thousands of federal workers across the country have had their livelihoods destroyed. Elon Musk and his DOGE minions have slashed federal funding for critical benefits and lifesaving research, with no accountability from Congress or the White House. And now, MAGA fanatics are fomenting a constitutional crisis by threatening to ignore court orders halting some of DOGE’s most extreme actions. At such a fragile moment, this is the LAST thing Texas needs. But this is exactly what Republicans want to bring to our state.
