Today is World Day of Social Justice — a day to stand up for those too often left behind. In times of crisis — whether it’s climate disasters, conflict, or economic turmoil — persons with disabilities are among the hardest hit and the first forgotten. Left without access to aid. Excluded from vital services. Ignored by decision-makers. This Global Disability Summit in April is a chance to change that. Governments will decide whether to center disability rights in their policies — or continue leaving millions behind. But leaders only act if we demand it. Make them listen. Tag the leaders of the UK, France, Sweden and Norway on X or Instagram now and tell them: Disability rights can’t be an afterthought. They must be a priority. |
