TELL CONGRESS: Elon Musk is ratcheting up his propaganda about Social Security “fraud.” His DOGE team just forced out a career official at SSA over Musk’s drive to get access to all of our personal information. Sign the petition: Save Social Security from Musk’s DOGE crusade!

Hi,

Elon Musk has been spreading easily refutable claims about rampant “fraud” in Social Security, saying it’s a giant “scam.”1,2 Then, his DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) team forced out a career official at the Social Security Administration over DOGE’s attempts to gain access to the personal data of all Americans.3

It’s Musk’s DOGE gameplan playing out again: Claim extensive waste and fraud in order to gain access to sensitive government systems and threaten the agencies and programs that millions of Americans rely on. We need to fight for Social Security right now, before Musk and DOGE cut benefits for millions of seniors.

Sign the petition: Urge Congress to block Musk’s DOGE threats to Social Security.

“At this rate, they will break it. And they will break it fast, and there will be an interruption of benefits,” said Martin O’Malley, President Biden’s Social Security commissioner.4 And an interruption in benefits would be just the start of Musk and Trump’s efforts to destroy this critical program.

Our leaders can’t let Musk take a sledgehammer to Social Security. Congress must take a stand and protect the social safety net from DOGE’s destructive actions.

Sign the petition: Urge Congress to use its power to stop Musk and DOGE from wrecking Social Security.

Thanks for taking action,

Joey and the team at Demand Progress
