On the campaign trail, Trump promised to lower costs. Instead, he’s:

Enacting a reckless national tax, raising the prices of everyday goods like groceries and gas.
Trying to shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which has a long track record of taking on scammers and putting billions of dollars back into Americans’ pockets.
Attempting to cut federal spending on assistance programs millions of Americans rely on.

Trump is more focused on lining his and his friends’ pockets than bringing down costs, and Americans are the ones suffering the consequences.
