Team,

Excessive cell phone use is taking a toll on our students — fueling cyberbullying, increasing anxiety, and making it harder for kids to focus in class. Gov. Murphy is stepping up to address this issue by supporting the movement toward phone-free schools — and education leaders, teachers, and lawmakers are standing behind him.

✅ Less distraction in the classroom so students can focus on learning
✅ Stronger mental health by reducing social media pressures and cyberbullying
✅ More face-to-face connections to help kids build real relationships

Other states are already moving toward similar policies, and New Jersey has the opportunity to lead the way. But we need to show there’s strong grassroots support for this initiative.

Phil Murphy is hard at work on policies to rebuild the American Dream right here in New Jersey.
He’s cutting taxes, creating jobs, funding schools, and expanding opportunity — but he’s not alone. Stronger Fairer Forward exists to support that vision. Together, we’ll create more opportunities and revitalize the middle class.
