It’s been one month since inauguration and the direct attacks on our values and on our communities have been overwhelming.  

More than ever, I am grateful to work for an organization leading the fight against climate change, in a state full of people that voted to make the world safer.

Washington Conservation Action is the leading policy and political voice on the environment here in a state known for its progressive values.  

But the climate crisis is escalating. And misinformation threatens to drown out even the clearest warnings, as we saw in the wake of devastating wildfires across the West. 

It’s up to us to take action and be louder and stronger than the anti-environment forces threatening to lead us into more dangerous world. And that starts with a strong base of grassroots supporters.
