That's how they want you to feel. Their strategy is to "flood the zone" so that people simply throw up their hands, hang their heads, and give up.
But we must not allow ourselves to give into despair.

The stakes are too high — and the truth is, Donald Trump is not some all-powerful force of nature. He is weak, and he can be stopped. The American people don't want a government run by kleptocratic billionaires, and the backlash is already gaining momentum.

Since Trump was sworn in, the Common Dreams newsroom team has been working overtime to arm this nation's good people and the world with the news and information needed to fight back and win. We've seen a significant increase in our readership since Trump was sworn in, but this is just the beginning.
To stop Trump, we need to ramp it up even more, and we aim to raise $125,000 by March 1 to ensure we have the resources to cover everything coming at us.
