Dear John,
The joint address to Congress that President Trump gave this week was obviously chock full of lies and propaganda. He had the opportunity to lay out a plan for the next four years. Instead, he spoke like he was at a MAGA rally, with the Congressional GOP cheering on every word.
He lied to us—but I have the facts.
While Trump and the Congressional Republicans claimed to be cutting government waste, I know this is only code for cutting lifesaving programs and firing government workers—including staff at the VA, researchers at NIH, and park rangers.
Congressional Republicans are already threatening to cut Medicaid and other vital programs in order to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. Will you donate to my campaign so I can keep fighting back?
