Honor Henry’s Legacy
Your Gift Matched to Protect the Oceans

Dear John,

Last week, we shared the story of Henry Shehan, a young man whose love for the ocean shaped his life. A world traveler, Henry explored the waters of Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, North America, and Latin America—always drawn to the sea. He studied ecotourism, envisioning a future where people could experience the beauty of nature while protecting it. Sailing and being on the water brought him a sense of peace.

Henry was also a dedicated supporter of Sea Shepherd. Inspired by Whale Wars and Sea of Shadows, he followed our campaigns closely, believing in direct action to defend marine life. His passion for conservation led him to support the fight against poaching and illegal fishing, knowing that protecting the ocean means protecting the future. But his life was cut tragically short.

To honor his commitment, Henry’s family has launched a $100,000 matching gift campaign—every donation made in his name will be doubled, fueling Sea Shepherd’s mission to protect the marine life he cared about so deeply.

Thanks to supporters like you, we’re already 90% of the way to our goal.

Henry now stands among those who have left a lasting legacy for ocean conservation. Will you help us reach the finish line and ensure his impact lives on?

Thank you for being part of this tribute to Henry.

If you've already donated in Henry's honor, thank you. We'd love your help spreading the word—sharing the fundraiser brings us closer to our $100K goal!
