2025 has been off to a strong start for Ground Game Texas — and we cannot back off the pedal.
We took on city officials who tried to stall our ballot initiatives–and won!
A judge blocked Ken Paxton’s attempts to stop cannabis decriminalization in Dallas.
We’ve been organizing in Lockhart to implement their decriminalization policy—mobilizing the community to amplify their voices and advocate for change.
We’re expanding our ballot initiatives across Texas—building power in Central Texas and the Rio Grande Valley, expanding to the greater Houston area, and into North Texas.
We’re also standing in solidarity with allied organizations, supporting their efforts and amplifying our shared fight for progress at the statewide level.
This summer, we’re launching our 2025 ballot initiatives, building field teams of dedicated, experienced local organizers in each city with a clear goal: getting on the November ballot.
