# [#]John,

In rural communities like ours, we drive to get to work, we drive to get food, we drive to access health care. As a former auto shop owner, Marie knows how important cars are to our daily lives, especially in rural America.

It’s critical that ordinary people can use every tool at their disposal to fix our own things and make them last. That’s why, last week, Marie introduced bipartisan legislation to keep repair costs down and defend our rights to fix our own vehicles.

This “right to repair” will make a real, tangible difference in the lives of Americans everywhere. Marie needs to know where you stand on this issue, John:
Do you agree that making your own auto repairs should be affordable and accessible? [[link removed]]YES [[link removed]] NO [[link removed]]

This is pocketbook sustainability that just makes sense, John. We want to be able to repair and be good stewards of our stuff, and steer away from reliance on cheap and disposable things.

It’s time to empower ordinary Americans to make their own repairs with access to the necessary data and tools. And as technology progresses and new fields emerge, Marie remains dedicated to making sure we don’t leave rural communities or working families behind.

Help Marie drive this work in the right direction by responding to our quick survey today:

Thanks for taking the time to respond, John.
