TELL THE USPS BOARD: Trump is plotting an illegal takeover of the U.S. Postal Service, threatening a public good that consumers, workers, and small businesses rely on. Sign the petition: Stop Trump’s USPS takeover!

Hi,

Trump and his billionaire Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick, are plotting an illegal takeover of the U.S. Postal Service.1

If Trump succeeds, he could hand the Post Office over to corporate executives for the sole purpose of making the rich even richer. USPS workers will lose their jobs, consumers will pay higher prices, and small businesses will struggle to keep up.

Our leaders must defend the USPS from Trump’s illegal takeover.

Sign the petition: Don’t let Trump destroy the U.S. Postal Service!

President of the American Postal Workers Union, Mark Dimondstein, said, “Any attack on the Postal Service would be part of the billionaire oligarch coup, directed not just at the postal workers our union represents, but the millions of Americans who rely on the critical public service our members provide every single day.”2

Trump’s plan would especially threaten rural communities, Indigenous communities, seniors, and veterans who rely on affordable, reliable mail service for prescriptions, voting, and much more.

The USPS is America’s lifeline, delivering to every corner of the nation. We cannot let Trump tear it down, sell it for parts, and place it into the hands of Wall Street billionaires.

Sign the petition: Urge the Postal Board of Governors to stand against any Trump’s USPS takeover!

Thanks for taking action,

Joey and the team at Demand Progress
