The San Diego Housing Commission, in partnership with the City and Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego, is opening a 210-bed homeless shelter program for women and children downtown, furthering our efforts to add shelter beds and create more pathways to housing.

The conversation on voter-approved Measure B’s enhanced trash collection services and potential new fees is still in motion. We know you have thoughts, concerns, questions, and ideas. The City is hosting a District 1 open house meeting for residents to attend and learn about options, transitions, and trash services San Diegans want to see in their neighborhood.
