The Senate just voted to confirm Kash Patel as FBI Director despite the countless dangers he poses to the Bureau and the safety of all Americans. 

Our lawmakers have failed the American people with this reckless confirmation but Brady will do everything possible to protect life-saving systems and the critical abilities of the FBI.

Kash Patel has made it imminently clear who he is: A friend to extremists and hate groups, a Second Amendment radical, and a conspiracy theory proporter. The fact that our Senators have voted to confirm this man to lead the FBI is not just unacceptable, it’s dangerous. 

We witnessed just how critical the FBI is in preventing mass shootings and saving lives just last week, when the agency’s rapid response thwarted a Valentine’s Day school shooting plot in Indiana. A student planned an attack for February 14 — intentionally targeting the seven-year mark of the shooting in Parkland, FL. Thanks to FBI intervention, lives were saved. 

Today’s confirmation puts these protections and other critical systems – like the Brady Background Check System – under direct threat. But Brady won’t back down. We’re ready to fight Patel at every turn but we need your support to do it, friend:
