Last weekend, I was interviewed by Al Sharpton on MSNBC, where I had the opportunity to share why I’m running for Governor of New Mexico.
Here’s what I said:
This is an important time, and leadership — real leadership — is important in this country right now.
Governors will be the first line of defense against terrible and chaotic policies that are coming out of Washington, D.C — from killing jobs at our national parks in New Mexico and across the country to immigration policies that make our country less safe.
I’m running to change the game for New Mexicans and stand up for all New Mexicans. But I can’t do it alone.
