Justice Takes Courage Podcast
Through the lens of the United Methodist Social Principles, Justice Takes Courage podcast explores national and international social witness issues and actions in response to today’s most pressing social concerns. Each month a variety of United Methodists and interfaith partners join host Bishop Julius C. Trimble, General Secretary of The General Board of Church and Society to share ideas and perspectives that advance action for U.S. legislative faith-based advocacy and international social justice priorities. The first episode discusses U.S. immigration—a polarizing, extremely difficult issue—and what is our response as people of faith. The featured guests are both staff members from Church and Society: Rev. Kendal McBroom, Director of Civil and Human Rights, and Rev. Laura, Kigweba, Director of Grassroots Organizing. Listen to the podcast at https://www.umcjustice.org/who-we-are/justice-takes-courage-podcast. The Justice Takes Courage Podcast is also available on Spotify and Amazon Music. Coming soon to Apple Podcasts. Justice Takes Courage Podcast is produced by Church and Society Communications. If you would like to suggest a topic for the podcast, write us at [email protected].
