Over the past 4 weeks, the Trump Administration has thrown our government into chaos. The confusion around funding has put many institutions in jeopardy including health clinics, hospitals, and domestic violence shelters. Many of these cuts will disproportionately harm women and children around the country and around the world. 

Just this week, Trump directed the new Secretary of Health and Human Services—conspiracy theorist RFK Jr.—to “study” the safety of medication abortion even though it has been FDA approved for almost 25 years. 

Make no mistake: If the Trump Administration bans medication abortion, that is a federal abortion ban. End of sentence. With a majority of women using medication abortion to end their pregnancies, this is a direct attack on reproductive freedom.

I have spent years fighting to defend women and their bodily autonomy. I need your help if I am going to fight against Donald Trump’s attacks on us. Can you chip in today?

For years I have introduced legislation to protect abortion rights at the national level. Now, with the dismantling of Roe v. Wade and Medicaid on the chopping block, I am fighting even harder for women in my district and across the country.
