Donald Trump and Elon Musk have thrown our federal government into chaos.

They’re freezing funding for climate disaster relief, the clean energy transition, and so much more. They’re firing climate experts at the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.¹ And they’re erasing climate science from government websites.² It’s clear that Trump’s agenda is about one thing and one thing only: protecting the interests of Big Oil and billionaires.

This is an outrage, John, and right now every single member of Congress — Republican and Democrat alike — needs to hear from us. Will you speak up?

Trump and his billionaire buddy Musk are ransacking the federal government to enrich themselves at the expense of us all. They’re cutting funding for critical federal programs that everyday people depend on, while pushing for tax cuts that benefit only the ultra-wealthy.³ This is an illegal power grab — and it’s happening right now.

Deleting climate science, slashing funding, and firing climate experts at the EPA and NOAA won’t stop the climate crisis. It will only allow it to grow unchecked and out of control, putting all of us in danger. When climate disasters strike and people lose everything, Trump’s actions will leave them without the support they need.

Congress holds the federal government’s purse strings — not Trump. It’s past time they pushed back.
