Friends -
We are writing today to ask you to make a contribution to Elissa Slotkin's campaign committee.
You may be asking, Elissa just won her Senate race a few months ago – why are you asking me to contribute again?
First, it goes without saying that Elissa Slotkin won Michigan – and so did Donald Trump.
One of the reasons that happened is because we did better than typical Democrats in the "redder" parts of the state. That is something that has happened consistently in Elissa's previous elections. She might not win them outright, but she "loses better."
Looking ahead to 2026, we have a bunch of big elections in Michigan coming up. Every statewide office is up – Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General. We have an open Senate seat with Gary Peters' retirement. The entire state senate. And we have U.S. House races that could determine control of the chamber.
Elissa is going to be in high demand on the campaign trail. She is going to be running around the state not just as a Senator, but in an effort to help Democrats win everywhere.
That takes resources. We're not asking for a huge contribution today, just whatever you feel is worth it to help Democrats hold statewide offices, our other Senate seat, and to flip the House.
If lots and lots of people contribute, we can help Elissa play her part.

Thank you,
