Governor DeWine Appoints Zoz to Fairfield Municipal Court
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Zachary Zoz to the Fairfield Municipal Court.
Zoz, of Fairfield, will assume office on March 31, 2025, and will be taking the seat formerly held by Judge Joyce Campbell, who retired. Zoz will serve the remainder of the unfinished term and will need to run for election in November 2025 to retain the seat.
Zoz started his legal career in 2006 as the owner and operator of Zoz Law Office, LLC in Hamilton, Ohio, and has continued to run the firm to this day. In 2015, he joined the Mason Municipal Court as the clerk of court and in 2021, he became the chief magistrate. In 2023, Zoz acted as a judge for the Fairfield Municipal Court and currently holds the position of magistrate.
In 2001, Zoz received a bachelor's degree in history from Thomas More College. He received his juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law in 2004.
Zoz is a member of the Fairfield Rotary Club and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
