Then they’ll use that lie to justify slashing vital services that millions rely on to survive, while moving to privatize so that they (and the rest of the Oligarchs) can profit even more off the backs of all of us.
In 8 DECADES of sending monthly benefits, Social Security has never missed a payment. Yet after just a few weeks of Trump and Musk, experts are already warning of a looming “disaster.”
Meanwhile, Bernie just introduced a new bill to EXPAND Social Security benefits by $2,400 a year AND ensure the program has enough funding to operate for the next 75 years — all by just making the rich pay a bit more of their fair share of taxes. GOP Senators made their priorities clear by blocking the bill.
Bernie’s right: we need to be investing in Social Security, not slashing it. But if Musk isn’t stopped, seniors and disabled Americans will quickly pay the price as their benefits are interrupted, slashed, or ripped away.
