I added two bills to the Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns (KCDC) Legislative Update.

SB 281 and HB 2240. They are both scheduled for hearings in the Senate Government Efficiency Committee.

HB 2240 requires legislative approval of any Medicaid state plan, state plan amendment, demonstration or waiver that expands coverage or increases cost to the state.  The hearing is Tuesday, March 11 at 9:30 in room 144-S. Connie Burns is the committee assistant you need to contact if you want to give testimony.  Her phone number is 785-296-7370.

SB 281 establishes the Kansas postsecondary education savings account and Kansas ABLE  savings account grant incentive program.  The hearing is on March 13 at 9:30 in room 144-S. Connie Burns is committee assistant you need to contact if you want to provide testimony. Her phone number is 785-296-and if you want to 7370.
