Team -- With a month and a half to go until the runoff, we’re in crunch time. The way we see it, there are two possible outcomes after the runoff:

Scenario 1: Our superb grassroots team meets every single goal we give them, propelling MJ to victory in the runoff. We continue our momentum, meeting every hurdle Sen. Cornyn throws in our way, and this team flips not just Texas, but the US Senate along with it.

Scenario 2: We don’t hit every goal before the runoff, leaving us without the momentum we need to take on Sen. Cornyn’s corporate PACs and big money backers. Sen. Cornyn is able to withstand MJ’s challenge and he keeps his seat in the Senate, continuing his assault on Medicare and the Affordable Care Act and refusing to take action on climate change or gun safety.
